AmazeVR is a VR concert platform company that brings artists closer to fans anywhere at any time through proprietary immersive technologies. Through our full-service solution, fans come face-to-face with their favorite artists in a virtual experience by integrating the artist’s performance in 8K+ stereoscopic live-action videos into surreal environments that transcend reality. Our distribution model optimizes for quality and reach—we’re partnering with movie theaters around the world to transform traditional auditoriums into VR concert venues, and we’re releasing online through the AmazeVR music metaverse app across major home VR headsets.
Founded by the co-founder and early executives of Kakao, a $35B market cap mobile platform company, AmazeVR has offices in Los Angeles (HQ) and Seoul. In 2019, we closed a $9.5MM Series A round of fundraising with seasoned investors in the tech and media space. Since then, we’ve built our Unreal Engine-based technical foundation, began our collaboration with 3x Grammy-winning artist Megan Thee Stallion and Roc Nation, and secured an additional $15MM to build the future of music.We’re thrilled to be creating VR Concerts with an incredibly talented and passionate team. After an incredible premiere as a SXSW official selection, we just released the world’s first ever VR concert tour with Megan Thee Stallion, selling out 75% of shows and achieving 85% total occupancy rate for a 10 city US tour before we even launched. Who you are
•
7+ years of experience as a product manager and/or a product owner in online consumer business, with a proven track record for success of the product
•
Good amount of knowledge on consumer behavior and finance
•
Strong communication skill with internal stakeholders, designers, and engineers to fine-tune their requirements for the best final output
•
Highly logical, quantitative, and data-driven in analyzing the situation and making suggestions
•
Detail-oriented while still pursuing scalability based on systemic thinking
•
You know what real hustle looks like - resourceful in a fast-paced evolving environment, will meet tight deadlines, and can calmly solve unforeseen issues that may develop
•
Proactive and entrepreneurial - excited about working at a VC-funded startup with a small team while wearing multiple hats
Preferred
•
Experience in leading development and operations of at least one type of these services from scratch: 1) e-commerce service, 2) music and/or any other entertainment service, 3) global service
•
Bilingual in English/Korean
•
Keen to work with productivity and data analytics tools (e.g. Slack, JIRA, Google Analytics, SQL, etc.)
•
You may or may not have VR experience - come with an open mind and we’ll teach you
Responsibilities
•
Design the new product features for the ticketing service - admin system, customer website, CRM, and etc. - for our offline VR concerts to maximize revenue potential and customer satisfaction
•
Supervise the entire development cycle of the project from organizing requirements to delivering outputs, ensuring the quality and schedule, and coordinating with multiple departments and 3rd party partners, if needed
•
Analyze various data from the product to find its pain points and apply solutions; support to build and improve data pipeline to enhance data analytics capability
•
Document product requirements and wireframes for product development; manage product documents for consistency and scalability
•
Deal with other web-based ad-hoc requests from other departments
