AmazeVR brings artists closer to fans anywhere at any time through proprietary immersive technologies. Through our full-service solution, fans come face-to-face with their favorite artists in a virtual experience through integrating the artist’s performance in 8K+ stereoscopic live-action videos into surreal environments that transcend reality. Our vertically integrated distribution model maximizes for quality and reach — offline, through global movie theaters with haptic motion chairs and VR LBEs; and online, through the Amaze app across most major VR headsets and other opportunities.
Founded by the co-founder and early executives of Kakao, a $57B market cap mobile platform company, AmazeVR has offices in Los Angeles (HQ) and Seoul. In 2019, we secured $9.5MM for our Series A fundraising from seasoned investors in the tech and media space. And after we built our Unreal Engine-based technical foundation in 2020 collaborating with artist duo Ceraadi and Roc Nation, we secured an additional $9.5MM to build the future of music.
We’re thrilled to be building Amaze VR Concerts with an incredibly talented and passionate team, and we can’t wait to launch our first project with Megan Thee Stallion across the US early 2022, followed by more global projects. We’re searching for a world-class teammate with operations expertise in the amusement park, family arcade, and/or show touring industry. Let's build the future of music together.
Who you are
•
3+ years of experience in field operations management and execution in the consumer event, show touring, and/or amusement park industry
•
Leadership experience across on-site teams as a manager or above
•
Extremely organized and detail-oriented to better manage multiple simultaneous tasks with limited time
•
Fast learner across business and technical functions in a rapidly changing environment
•
Strong communication skills using platforms such as Jira, Slack, G Suite, and email
•
Passion to deliver fun and entertaining experiences to customers
•
You know what real hustle looks like - resourceful in a fast-paced evolving environment, will meet tight deadlines, and can calmly solve unforeseen issues that may develop
•
Proactive and entrepreneurial - excited about working at a VC-funded startup with a small team while wearing multiple hats
•
A “yes… and!” person, not a “yes, but…” person
•
Must be willing to travel up to 50%

Keen to work with tech equipment
•
You may or may not have VR experience - come with an open mind and we’ll teach you
Responsibilities
•
Set up and break down the overall offline experience on the theaters and other relevant distribution channels.
•
Coordinate with multiple departments and vendors to facilitate effective field operations; design and build out the activation; develop user experience scenarios and integrate into operations
•
Develop staff training materials; address any HR issues that arise, and administer any requisite staff discipline or behavior correction
•
Day-to-day manage on-site staff and operations either at on-site or back-office; report KPIs and issues daily, weekly, and longer-term basis.

Manage operational policies and legal issues working with other departments
•
Plan the project budget and manage costs for field operations
