AmazeVR brings artists closer to fans anywhere at any time through proprietary immersive technologies. Through our full-service solution, fans come face-to-face with their favorite artists in a virtual experience through integrating the artist’s performance in 8K+ stereoscopic live-action videos into surreal environments that transcend reality. Our vertically integrated distribution model maximizes for quality and reach — offline, through global movie theaters with haptic motion chairs and VR LBEs; and online, through the Amaze app across most major VR headsets and other opportunities.
Founded by the co-founder and early executives of Kakao, a $57B market cap mobile platform company, AmazeVR has offices in Los Angeles (HQ) and Seoul. In 2019, we secured $9.5MM for our Series A fundraising from seasoned investors in the tech and media space. And after we built our Unreal Engine-based technical foundation in 2020 collaborating with artist duo Ceraadi and Roc Nation, we secured an additional $9.5MM to build the future of music.
We’re thrilled to be building Amaze Immersive Concerts with an incredibly talented and passionate team, and we can’t wait to launch our large-scale project across the US in 2022. To join us on our mission, we’re searching for a creative, rockstar teammate with experience working on music videos who are excited to build the future of music with us.
Who You Are
•
Entrepreneurial - excited about working at a high-performing startup with a small team
•
Team player who can effectively communicate between the Artists' Creative Team, Internal Art, VFX, and Technical Engineers
•
Has a broad understanding of immersive experiences, including various kinds of visual styles and techniques
•
You understand all stages of production and know-how to bring components together from development through post-post
•
Interest in VR and related new technologies
•
A portfolio of interesting and diverse work in both music and new mediums
•
Interest in visual music experiences. Music industry experience is a plus
Responsibilities
•
Creatively lead large-scale projects with in-house producers
•
Set up new projects by leading pitches, treatments, and production proposals
•
As the nexus between the idea and execution, you’ll work in close collaboration with recording artists, management, and marketing to establish visual direction for immersive experiences
•
Guide ideation and steer the overall direction for the immersive projects
•
Work in concert with our in-house Art, VFX, and Engineer teams to create a cohesive and engaging experience
•
Review and adjust creative treatments and run of shows
•
Work with freelance and contract production teams to execute principal photography in partnership with Music Artists' creative teams
•
Contribute to growing the team which includes recruiting, networking, and community outreach
