Overview
AmazeVR brings artists closer to fans anywhere at any time through proprietary immersive technologies. Through our full-service solution, fans come face-to-face with their favorite artists in a virtual experience through integrating the artist’s performance in 8K+ stereoscopic live-action videos into surreal environments that transcend reality. Our vertically integrated distribution model maximizes for quality and reach — offline, through global movie theaters with haptic motion chairs and VR LBEs; and online, through the Amaze app across most major VR headsets and other opportunities.
Founded by the co-founder and early executives of Kakao, a $57B market cap mobile platform company, AmazeVR has offices in Los Angeles (HQ) and Seoul. In 2019, we secured $9.5MM for our Series A fundraising from seasoned investors in the tech and media space. And after we built our Unreal Engine-based technical foundation in 2020 collaborating with artist duo Ceraadi and Roc Nation, we secured an additional $9.5MM to build the future of music.
We’re thrilled to be creating VR concerts with an incredibly talented and passionate team, and we can’t wait to launch our first showcase with Megan Thee Stallion across the US early 2022, followed by a pipeline of global projects. We’re searching for a rockstar graphic designer to join our growing marketing team who is excited to live the startup hustle. Let's build the future of music together.
Who you are (Technical)
•
5+ years of experience in graphic design at a creative/marketing agency or entertainment company
•
Mastery of industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe CC, G-Suite) to create brand guidelines, templates, concepts, and design reports
•
Excellent layout, color theory, and typography skills. In-depth understanding of design fundamentals, keyart, typography, and color
•
Expertise in designing for web, tablet, mobile, and email projects (specifically HTML and CSS)
•
Deep understanding of all social media platforms, associated media requirements, and best practices
•
Working knowledge of print technology and production across multiple formats (e.g., posters, merchandise, apparel, etc.)

Proficiency in broadcast and motion graphics, 3D rendering, HTML5/CSS

Experience working with talent and creators on campaigns

Experience managing a high volume of creative and campaign types in parallel
Responsibilities
•
Editorial design (marketing creatives) on art direction and collaboration with our product, brand, marketing, and content practices
•
Concept and storyboard still/animated/video ad placements and social media posts for marketing campaigns and sales promotion
•
Create and repurpose client-focused visual assets for marketing materials across multiple formats, supporting major releases and updates
•
Collaborate across departments and external stakeholders to ensure alignment on deliverable quality and creative direction
•
Support building presentations across departments for internal/external use
•
Manage relationships with vendors and freelancers to prepare deliverables and augment project needs
